"Tonia Grantham was born and raised in Mississippi where her creativity was fueled at a young age while growing up in the piney woodlands of Rankin County. Having taken all the art classes that high school and Hinds Community College had to offer, she joined a studio class taught by Dianne Norman in 1994 where she fell head-over-heels in love with the pastel medium. After Tonia married and moved to Memphis a few years later to begin a new job and start a family, she joined Anne Enoch’s studio class which gave her flexibility while raising her children. During that time, she developed an impressionistic style painting animals and landscapes inspired by her home, garden, travel, and love of the piney woods where she spent her younger years. She has painted commissions for clients and contributed t-shirt designs for various causes including breast cancer and ovarian cancer awareness. Tonia currently resides back in Mississippi with her family in the quaint town of Booneville where she paints from her home studio affectionately called, The Little Art Room."

"For over 20 years I worked with ballet organizations that gave me complete access to performances and rehearsals to the extent that I could photograph without being noticed. These are from a collection of over 30,000 negatives. Like Degas I prefer the dancer's in the wings prior to performance."

Tonza DeBerry

"Tonza DeBerry is a native of Holly Springs, Ms who has resided in the Jackson/Ridgeland, Ms area all of her adult life. She began dabbling with acrylics, creating small wall art & other home decor in 2013; but didn't become serious about painting until 2020. She considers herself as being "Spirit-led" rather than "Self-taught." She knows that her ability to paint comes from One Who is greater than herself and she is forever grateful that Jesus chose her as the vessel through which the creativity is expressed. Her canvas works & artprint notecards have been displayed & sold at Mississippi Farmers Market & other MS arts & crafts shows. She currently paints from home, with dreams of owning her own studio one day."

"I work to develop paintings that make people question their purpose. I do not only want to capture an image but create a story for the viewer to seek out. I am a native Biloxian and have been painting on the Gulfcoast for many years. I received my B.F.A from Mississippi College for Women and MEd. from William Carey College. I taught 30 years art in grades K- college. I have served as an educator at the Ohr-O’Okeefe Museum of art and the Walter Anderson museum. Currently a board member of the Mississippi Art Colony and President of the South Mississippi Art League."
